A classic Air Jordan 1 colorway is returning soon as the Air Jordan 1 High ’85 “Metallic Burgundy” will release in 2024, according to ZSneakerheadz and Sneaker Files.

It was originally reported that the “Metallic Red” colorway, which was released in 1986 and revisited again in 2009 & 2014, was set to get the ’85 treatment. However, rumor has it that the elusive “Metallic Burgundy” will arrive in Spring 2024.

Just like the “Metallic Red” iteration, the “Metallic Burgundy” AJ1 was a part of the original Air Jordan 1 rollout which included other metallic iterations such as the “Metallic Purple” colorway, the “Metallic Green” colorway, the “Metallic Orange” colorway, and the “Metallic Blue” colorway.

A white leather upper and vibrant metallic dark red details on the collar, Wings logo, and Swoosh will arrive on the pair with matching burgundy laces and its signature true red outsole.

The Air Jordan 1 High ’85 “Metallic Burgundy” is rumored to release on February 16, 2024, for $200 on SNKRS and select retailers.
