Air Jordan 5 "Burgundy" SE Release Date

Jordan Brand is turning back the clock as another LS-era colorway is set to make its long-awaited return.

The Air Jordan 5 “Burgundy” was a new adaptation of the Tinker Hatfield-designed classic when it released in 2006 alongside a litany of other non-OG colorways, including the Air Jordan 5 “Green Bean” and the Air Jordan 4 “Lightning” colorways, both of which saw the retro treatment within the last year.

The “Burgundy” Air Jordan 5 is next in line to join the retro treatment, according to multiple reports. Built with a full suede upper dipped in a rich burgundy hue and paired with silver details on the tongue, laces, lining, & signature shark teeth on the midsole, the Air Jordan 5 “Burgundy” was ahead of its time.

Now, it returns at the right time, though some might argue it’s well overdue. Nonetheless, the Air Jordan 5 “Burgundy” is rumored to return on August 12th, 2023 for $200 on SNKRS and select retailers, per zSneakerHeadz.
